Since 2017, we've had a partnership with Dar El-Alwad (Kids Alive Lebanon) to bring annual summer teams to partner with similar groups who are welcoming migrant newcomers to their home country. 

Our purpose in these trips is to help our volunteer base to be inspired to welcome migrant newcomers well here in Chicagoland as our partners in Lebanon do so well doing.

5% of our undesignated funds go to support Dar El-Alwad's efforts to come alongside Syrian newcomers in Lebanon.  If you are interested in getting updates about our summer trips, please contact us, thank you!
